Grooming Services and Prices (effective 10/1/2024)

This service brushes the pets entire coat, removing loose hair, debris, and minor tangles/knots.  This is typically done between Bath/Brush or Bath/Haircut appointments.  Significant matting, de-shedding, and knots may incur an extra charge.  Your groomer will discuss this with you at the time of service.  Nails are trimmed and ears are cleaned. These appointments range from 30 to 60 minutes.

This service includes a full shampoo, fresh water rinse, towel and/or blow-dry, brush out debris and minor tangles/knots, trim nails, clean eyes and ears, and one final fluff.   A Potty Path or Feet/Face/Fanny trim add-on are recommended for longer hair coats or breeds that don't get a haircut. These appointments range from 45 to 75 minutes.

This service includes a bath, brush, nail trim and ear cleaning (see above) plus a breed-appropriate haircut with scissors and/or trimming with clippers.  There may be an additional charge for specialized cuts, breeds, (e.g. Std. Poodles, Doodles, Bichon Frise, Afgan Hound, Water Dogs) or appointments longer than 90 minutes.

This includes all of the full groom services (see above) with additional time for preparation, drying, brushing, and more complex or breed specific haircuts. Breeds needing the extended full groom include, but are not limited to, Standard Poodles, Doodles, Water Dogs, Giant Schnauzers, and Old English Sheepdogs. These appointments range from 91 to 150 minutes.

Brushing to remove loose hairs and dead skin cells, to keep the coat free of dirt, debris, and external parasites, and to distribute natural skin oils along the hair shafts.  Nails are trimmed and ears cleaned. These appointments typically last 45-60 minutes.

A brushout to remove debris and tangles followed by a warm bath with hypoallergenic shampoo (without any added perfumes) worked through the entire coat to remove all dirt and debris.  Nails are trimmed and ears cleaned. These appointments typically last 60 minutes). A dry shampoo may be available as a substitute.

A brushout to remove debris and tangles followed by a breed appropriate haircut, including Lion cuts.  Nails are trimmed and ears cleaned. These appointments typically last 60 minutes.

All of the bath services listed above for a full groom experience. These appointments typically last 90 minutes.

$15 per 15 minutes when appointment time exceeds time allocated for scheduled services

With a cooperative pet, the groomer will attempt to express the anal glands externally during the bath. 

Specially formulated de-shedding shampoo plus additional time for brushing, Furminator brushing, and  blowing out undercoat.

A hydrogen peroxide-based treatment during bathing.

Veterinary approved liquid ear cleaner used with cotton balls (never cotton swabs). Ears lobes should be cleaned monthly; more often for breeds with long, floppy ears and those who swim regularly.  

Additional time to work with matting/excessive matting conditions.  May be used in conduction with de-shedding/furminator treatment.  Clippers or scissor may need to be used in some cases to cut out matting. $15 per each 15 minute increment as needed.

In conjuction with a bath and brush service, the face, feet/legs, and fanny are tidied up with scissors/clippers. Also called a "tidy up" or "body contour" trim.

Trim nails using nail clippers, file, or by grinding. Nail trim only appointments are available and are scheduled when we have other full grooming appointments in your general area/zip code. Additonal pets are $25 each. Nail trim only appointments are not eligible for the 10% multipet discount.

After a thorough cleaning, nail trim, and trim of paw pad hair, balm is applied to provide a nourishing barrier for harsh surfaces and conditions, such as hot pavement, sand, salt, ice, and snow

Added time for grooming services if pet is not cooperative or unruly; this is in extreme cases.  Pets who are aggressive may be turned away or have their grooming appointment shortened.  

Setting a pattern for specific breeds including Schnauzer, Westie, and Airedale. Once the pattern is set, subsequent grooms will be for maintenance and not require this fee to set.

Keeps heiny hair free of tangles and mats; reduce the traps for urine, feces, dirt, associated bacteria, and odors.

For pets who have soiled themselves after their bath requiring an additional bath (re-wash)

A partial or full shave of your pet based on pet owner preference, standard for a breed, seasonal/summer coat, or excessive matting (partial/full)

Added for dog grooming services when pet exceeds 100 pounds (additional time and/or groomer).  Pets of this size are on a case by case basis and must have a gentle demeanor.

Oral heath is an important part of overall pet health. A new toothbrush is used for each teeth brushing.

A pet, pet parent, and groomer "meet and greet", and grooming introduction for up to 30 minutes.  The groomer will also recommend grooming services. Consultations are scheduled when we have other appointments in your general area/zip code. Consultations may not be available during out busiest times like the holiday season.
